Spring/Fall Garden Show – LSU AgCenter Agents

Annual renewal period begins December 1st
  • Dues increased to $40.00 for 2025 membership year with the option to cover MGGNO’s nominal processing fee.
  • Payment is required by December 31st for inclusion in MGGNO directory, email and text contact list, as well as attendance roster.
  • New LMG graduates are not required to pay dues until December 31st of the year following their graduation.
  • Although the PayPal menu reads “Donation,” this is not a tax-deductible transaction.

Member Participation

All members of MGGNO are graduates in good standing of the Louisiana Master Gardener (LMG) program, conducted by the LSU AgCenter Coordinators. To remain an active participant in the LMG program, members must log a minimum of twenty (20) service hours and six (6) continuing education hours annually.

  • Full Members annually recertified LMG, complete an application, pay dues annual dues by December 31 and attend a minimum of three (3) meetings each year.
  • Associate Members completed the above criteria but did not meet the minimum meeting requirement in the previous year. They are entitled to all benefits of the organization but may not serve on the executive committee.
  • Inactive Members are unable to complete all of the LMG requirements and have applied for a temporary leave of absence due to illness or another life-disrupting event.

  • LMG Merchandise:  T-shirts, aprons and hats
  • LMG Name Badges available only through local  Dr. Joe Willis or Chris Dunaway

Membership Meetings are held on the last Monday of the month (except when it falls on a holiday or election day) at 6 p.m. (doors open at 5:30 p.m.)  See 2026 meeting dates at bottom of this page.

Board Meetings are held on the third Monday of each month at 6 p.m.  (Members are welcome.)
